“Her Haven,” a look into the colorful Medina home of clothing designer, Nancy Cirillo, is a prime example of just how much some new upholstery can do for a home. Designer Nichole Jacobson took the expansive residence from ‘grand traditional’ to ‘glam sophisticate’ overnight with splashes of bright color, bold patterns, and luscious textures.
Nichole worked with It’s Bout Time Upholstery to turn a classic side chair into the hot pink focus piece featured on two of the article’s images. This is what Jacobson had to say about the process (p. 28): “One of the more fun transformations was lacquering a French side chair hot pink and reupholstering it in a beautifully soft, textured velvet of the same color. I then added a touch of nailhead on the armrests for some bling!”

Our client already owned an arsenal of complementary furniture for her family room, but when it came time to remodel, she knew she needed a new color pallet to accentuate the room’s inviting but airy feel.
